Weee Recycle ICT is dedicated to safeguarding the security and integrity of all data for which it has legal obligations, while under its management. To fulfil these obligations, the organization has established an Information Security Management System (ISMS), overseen by the Managing Director to ensure its effective operation. A Data Protection Officer and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) play vital roles in enhancing the overall Information Security framework.
Weee Recycle ICT is focused on the ongoing enhancement of its ISMS, which will encompass all company operations, align with ISO 27001 standards, and ensure adherence to applicable data protection regulations. The primary goal of the ISMS is to avert significant risks of 'harm or distress' to individuals, groups, clients, or Weee Recycle ICT itself, resulting from the unauthorized release or loss of information that could have adverse effects or lead to legal non-compliance.
Within the ISMS framework, specific information security objectives will be set and monitored, and all information assets, whether existing or prospective, will be identified and assessed for impact and risk. Each information asset will be assigned an owner responsible for implementing effective controls to mitigate any identified risks to acceptable levels.
Any reported breaches in information security will be managed through the company's ISMS to guarantee a thorough investigation into root causes and the application of effective remedial measures. The senior leadership team will periodically review the efficacy of management systems and report findings to the managing director, reflecting Weee Recycle ICT’s commitment to continuous improvement.
All employees of Weee Recycle ICT are responsible for complying with ISMS requirements to fulfil their roles in information security. It is the duty of every employee to report any known or suspected information security breaches.
